Amway Charity Foundation (ACF) was established through a donation of RMB 100 million made by the Amway (China) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter ‘Amway China’), the largest subsidiary of Amway Corporation of the United States. As one of the world’s largest direct-selling enterprises, Amway has been operating its businesses in 125 countries and regions since its founding in 1959. By the end of 2018, the global direct-selling industry achieved annual sales of $192.9 billion and employed more than 118.4 million people.

 

Launching its business in 1995, Amway China has been providing consumers with over 150 kinds of top-quality products in four categories, including Nutrilite nutritional supplements, Artistry skincare and cosmetics, personal care and home products, and also provides those who are planning to start their own business with business opportunities featuring flexible employment and “more pay for more work.” By the end of 2018, Amway China had contributed 80.374 billion yuan in taxes and has paid approximately 60.5 billion yuan in taxes and fees accumulatively.

 

In addition to its business efforts, Amway China has been continuing Amway Corporation’s long charity tradition of conferring benefits on the society from its wealth and giving back to the community with love. By December 2019, Amway China had donated and sponsored with 913 million yuan and participated in more than 15,784 public welfare projects. As the inheritor of Amway China’s charity spirit, ACF will operate and manage in a professional, transparent and efficient manner. Through the Foundation's platform, ACF will bring together the strength of love from all walks of life and bring attention and warmth of the society to the disadvantaged groups.
