About ACF

Amway Charity Foundation (ACF) is a non-public foundation established with a startup capital of RMB 100 million from Amway (China) Co., Ltd., in accordance with the Regulation on Foundation Administration. In January 2011, the Foundation was officially registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China upon its approval.

 

ACF inherits and carries on Amway China's charity tradition in conducting its charitable activities, operate its business in a professional, efficient, and transparent manner, and disseminate warmth and kindness throughout society, while promoting the harmonious development between humans and society by pooling the charity efforts of Amway China's staff, its distributors and people from all walks of life.

 

Since its establishment, ACF has focused on two major areas of nutrition and education for poverty-stricken children, and has helped more than 3 million poor children over the past nine years. In child nutrition, ACF has carried out the “Spring Sprout Nutrition Project" and “Power of 5 - Preschool Children’s Nutrition Improvement Project" to help poor children get nutrition improvement support. In child education, ACF has carried out the “Sunshine Project” and the "Rural Children Friendship Community Project" and other projects to help children integrate into the community and grow up happily.

 

ACF has won the “China Charity Award” and has been listed among the “Forbes Top 25 China Charity Foundations” on three occasions. It also thrice received the award of “Transparent and Outstanding Charity Organization.” In 2015, ACF was certified as a 4A-level foundation by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the PRC.
